"When I first thought of feeding homeless people I wasn’t sure about any of it. When Alyssa, Kate, Mrs. Dana and I went to see a lady sitting on the curb praising the lord! When we asked how she was she said, “Blessed”. All though she was homeless she was satisfied for what she DID have.

That showed God working thru her.

During the church service, the preacher really spoke to me. She really showed the people God’s love. When the people came to the grocery line and I passed the drinks out I felt like I was making a big difference in their lives. The people looked so very thankful.

I saw more smiles than I have probably smiled all week!

As I was sitting in the van I was thinking about all of it and realized that I didn’t just make a difference in their lives, it made a difference in my life. I realized how much stuff I had compared to them. We all have times when we take our stuff for granted. I also take my stuff for granted and I will try my best not to because seeing what the people go threw on a regular bias compared to me, I am extremely lucky."
