We are so blessed this week to be staying on the beautiful Vanderbilt Campus at the St. Augustine's Chapel, a small, but beautiful A-frame chapel on the south side of campus.
A less commonly known name for Nashville is "The Athens of the South". It was called this because it is home to 24 post secondary educational institutes and is often compared to the ancient city of learning Athens, Greece. The locals are so found and proud of this that there is a full scale repleca of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece a block away from us here in Nashville in Centennial Park. So we are really delighted to be staying on one of the great collegate insitutions here and fellowshiping with some student groups that also meet here at the chapel throughout the week!
Please pray for us as we do ministry this week with a bunch of great local ministries.
Also pray that we can hear the Lord's voice clearly and follow where HE directs us to go and learn the things He already knows that He wants to teach us in our time here in Nashville.
