Hi everyone!
I am so very happy to report that our youth group from Cincinnati arrived safe and sound around 5:45pm. They were tired, hungry, and, according to one young lady, felt like they smelled like they’d “been in a barn for 4 days!” Once they took showers and got some food in their bellies they were excited, chatty, and playful. In fact, I can still hear them running through the halls laughing now.
I presented the group with the question, “What do you hope to see or do this week?” Their answers ranged from “learn more about God,” to “bring light to someone’s heart and a smile to their face,” to “build relationships and have unity.” In short, they want to make a difference in the Nashville community. They want to be #AgentsOfImpact for the Kingdom.
But what does it really mean to be agents of impact?
Google provides the following definitions. An agent is “a person who acts on behalf of another person or group; a person or thing that takes an active role or produces a specified effect.” It goes on to say that impact means to “come into forcible contact with another object; have a strong effect on someone or something.” So an agent of impact is someone who acts on behalf of someone other than himself or herself in such a way that a change inevitably occurs.
So, I ask of you this one thing: Please be praying for us as we seek to learn, grow, and move in the Father this week.
Finally, please enjoy a little worship led by Reagan…
