Every week of ministry looks different here in Nashville. Here is a perspective from one of our participants this week as to what our week has looked like.
Monday, we went to the splash park and I meet a kid. We played a game that was fun. We just did tricks and passed the ball. After we started to play I learned that the kid did not play a lot of sports. So we stop playing ball and we got on the see saw. We kept falling off, but it was fun.
Tuesday, we went back to the splash park but I did not find a friend that day. But I still had fun I just went around talking to a lot of kids, not just one kid. There was one kid who I asked if he knew who GOD was. When I asked if he wanted to talk about GOD he said no, but we kept playing.
Wednesday, was our first day at the Bridge Ministry warehouse. I threw bread in a truck for pigs and horses. The bread was deep and I fell in and mashed the bread. It was fun. When I was done, I took crates of cardboard and carried it to a truck.
Thursday, we went back to the warehouse and sorted drinks. We also donated $108 to their Bridge to Kids program. They thanked us and we felt proud.
On our afternoon off we went to the trampoline park and I went into the foam pit. That night we ate cake and watched Monster University to celebrate a great week.
